Olivia Evans is a grant-awarded, multidisciplinary visual artist, producer, director of The Root Experience, and owner of Mama Wolf Media in Spokane, WA. Working in photography, drawing, film, beadwork, and design, her work is influenced by motherhood, nature, cultural connection, lived experiences, and social justice. Blending traditional and digital media, her art reflects her unique perspective as a Black, Native, Italian woman. She holds a BFA Degree and Film Minor from EWU. As a producer at the Alliance for Media Arts + Culture, she elevates communities through film. She has consulted with orgs like Catholic Charities, Yoyot Sp'q'n'i, BRC, INWLCP, and SRDVC. Her work has been featured in exhibitions like, INT’L All Media Exhibit ‘22, WSU's In Solidarity '23 and ACES Expo 23–24, interviewed by KXLY, Krem 2, KHQ, and KSPS. Today, she expands her toolbox by directing The Root Experience non-profit & festival, film programming, modeling, and teaching at Whitworth and Gonzaga Universities.
